Job summary

Nestlé USA is seeking a Senior Project Manager to lead and manage a wide range of complex research and development projects for Nestlé Nutrition's Global Baby Food Meals & Drinks Category, from front-end innovation through industrialization and launch.

You will steer cross-functional teams, manage scope, budget, and timelines, and collaborate with senior management and stakeholders while applying Nestlé's I&R processes.

Qualifications

• Proven at least five years in project management of large cross-functional, high-impact programs.
• Experience in FMCG, in R&D and/or operations/manufacturing.
• BS in food science, materials, agriculture, biology or related sciences.
• Innovation mindset with consumer, customer and business opportunity focus.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills to lead multifunctional teams.
• Strong coaching skills and leadership in diverse teams.
• Willingness to travel 10–20%, domestically and internationally.

Responsibilities

• Lead the definition and communication of project scope, objectives, and expectations with senior management.
• Navigate front-end innovation activities and translate complexity into actionable decisions.
• Align strategy and approach for initiating, planning, executing, and closing projects.
• Identify resource requirements and lead project planning.
• Build and manage end-to-end schedules, critical path, and status reports.
• Develop and maintain project budgets.
• Connect science, technology, and people to deliver competitive solutions.
• Proactively manage roadblocks and risk mitigation.
• Coordinate project meetings and ensure stakeholder engagement.
• Communicate learnings and drive continuous improvements post-launch.
• Apply Nestlé’s I&R processes and tools consistently.
• Coach project managers to enhance team skills.
• Foster a diverse, collaborative environment and clear information flow.
