Job summary

Five Star Breaktime Solutions is hiring a Retail Route Merchandiser/Delivery Driver in the Knoxville/Alcoa area. You will stock vending machines and micro-markets, roll out promotions, manage inventory, and ensure clean, appealing displays.

You’ll build customer relationships, upsell products, and coordinate with the warehouse for timely deliveries. The role emphasizes independent work, safe driving, and providing excellent service across client locations.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED (required).
• Valid driver’s license with clean driving record.
• Ability to pass drug screen and pre-employment background check.
• Able to lift 50 pounds.
• Ability to lift, bend, stoop, and reach throughout the route.
• Must be 21+ to meet DOT requirements.

Responsibilities

• Merchandise products according to store layouts and POGs.
• Roll-out promotions.
• Gather and report customer feedback.
• Maintain inventory levels for all products (snacks, drinks, fresh foods, etc.).
• Restock shelves, coolers, and coffee.
• Follow inventory-tracking and product-rotation protocols.
• Load and unload products safely for deliveries.
• Drive the company vehicle to deliver merchandise.
• Communicate changes to management and suggest scheduling tweaks.
• Collect money from kiosks and follow cash-handling protocols.
• Record transactions using forms or handheld device.
• Monitor for unusual activity and potential misconduct.
• Ensure proper handling and refrigeration of perishable items.
• Maintain coolers at correct temperatures.
• Perform routine cleaning at each point of sale.
