Job summary

Encanto Golf Course in Phoenix, AZ is seeking a Snack Bar Supervisor to lead daily snack bar operations. You will cook, serve, handle cash, and manage inventory while delivering prompt, personalized guest service.

The role requires coordinating scheduling, training, and community engagement, with the TOAST POS system for purchases. The position leads Beverage Cart Attendants and ensures compliance with liquor laws. No prior experience is required, training is provided.

Qualifications

• No Experience required but will train.
• Must meet age requirement for serving alcohol.
• Certified Managers Food Handler's Card and Title IV Certification.
• Experience using Point of Sales (POS) systems.

Responsibilities

• Ensures guests are attended to in a prompt, efficient and personalized manner.
• Prepares and serves food and beverage items using grill, fryer, and flattop.
• Maintains organized and clean work area.
• Controls inventory and monitors food/beverage products.
• Receives deliveries and ensures proper storage.
• Reports to department manager when supplies need to be ordered.
• Stock and inventories products.
• Responds to customer questions regarding facility information.
• Supports food servers and beverage cart attendants to ensure excellent service.
• Keeps knowledge of state liquor laws and SOPs updated.

Key Responsibilities of the Snack Bar Supervisor:

• Ensures guests are attended to in a prompt, efficient and personalized manner.
• Prepares and serves food and beverage items. Including cooking using a grill, fryer, and flattop.
• Maintains organized and clean work area.
• Controls inventory through conscientious use and careful monitoring of all food beverage products.
• Receives deliveries of product from vendors and ensures proper storage.
• Reports to department manager when supplies need to be ordered.
• Stocks and inventories products.
• Responds to customer questions regarding the general information of facility.
• Supplies support to food servers and beverage cart attendants to ensure excellent service to members and guests.
• Maintains up-to-date knowledge of applicable state liquor laws and standard operating procedures provided by the management.
• Communicates guest concerns or comments immediately to the Regional Food and Beverage Manager
• Reviews schedule for changes, calendar of events and facility activities on a daily basis.
• Processes snack bar purchases with TOAST point of sales (POS) system
• Accountable for cash and credit transactions.
• Incorporates safe work practices in job performance.
• Performs other duties as required.

In addition to the standard Snack Bar Attendant duties, the Supervisor will assist with

• Scheduling
• Training
• Social Media Content Production
• Inventory Management, including monthly count, invoice tracking, and occasional ordering\\Daily Deposit Verification.

This position is also considered a Lead among Beverage Cart Attendants.

Individual must be comfortable in working in Beverage Cart conditions (Outside) as well as the Snack Bar area which includes the use of kitchen equipment

Minimum Qualifications of the Lead Snack Bar Attendant:

• No Experience necessary but will train.
• Must be able to meet age requirement for serving alcohol and has obtained Certified Managers Food Handler's Card and Title IV Certification.

Other Qualifications:

• Regular and reliable attendance.
• Experience using Point of Sales (POS) systems.
