Job summary

Arroyo Trabuco Golf Club in Mission Viejo, CA is seeking part-time bartenders/servers for our Snack Bar. You will welcome guests, answer questions, take orders, and prepare drinks to standard recipes while ensuring accurate cash handling.

Responsibilities

• Welcome guests, make recommendations and answer questions about food and beverages.
• Take orders and serve drinks accurately and efficiently.
• Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks per standard recipes.
• Record orders at the register and handle cash properly.
• Ensure timely delivery of guest orders.
• Prepare garnishes and replenish bar supplies.
• Maintain cleanliness of snack bar area and equipment.
• Report equipment problems to the manager and assist with inventory.

Arroyo Trabuco Golf Clubis a public-access daily fee golf course and includes a full-service restaurant and banquet space for weddings, company meetings, or any other celebration. We are currently looking for part time Bartenders/Servers to join our Snack Bar team.

Hours:

Shifts are 6:00am-11:30am and 11:300am-4:30pm. These shifts are available both weekdays and weekends.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

• Welcome each guest personally, make recommendations and answer questions regarding food and beverages.
• Must know food, cocktail, beer and wine menu as well as daily specials.
• Take orders from guests and serve with accuracy and efficiency.
• Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks consistent with the restaurant’s standard drink recipes.
• Record orders accurately and immediately after receipt onto the register system and use proper cash handling procedures.
• Ensure that all guests receive their orders in a timely manner.
• Prepare garnishes for drinks and replenish snacks and drinks for patrons.
• Maintain bottles and glasses in an attractive and functional manner to support efficient drink preparation and promotion.
• Maintain cleanliness in all areas of the snack bar including counters, sinks, utensils, shelves and storage areas.
• Report all equipment problems and bar maintenance issues to O’Neill’s Restaurant Manager.
• Assist the restocking and replenishment of snack bar inventory and supplies.

Position Requirements:

• Minimum 1 year experience working in a similar capacity
• Must have some knowledge of Spirits, Wine and Food
• Must possess excellent customer service skills, attention to detail, and ability to work under pressure
• Must have basic math skills
• Must be 21 years of age and possess Food Handlers card and RBS Certification or be willing to obtain within 30/60 days of employment
