Job summary

The Wild Animal Sanctuary is hiring a Snack Bar Associate for a full-time position at the end of our walk-way. You will assist with guest orders, serving, prepping, and cleaning, including weekends.

Must be able to lift 50 lbs, stand long hours, and pass a background check. Responsibilities include cashier duties, stock/inventory, memorizing menu items, following ordering protocols, operating snack bar equipment, and ensuring sanitation standards while delivering friendly,.Team-oriented service

Qualifications

• Prior food service or restaurant experience preferred but not required.
• Strong attention to detail.
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
• Ability to work well in teams.

Responsibilities

• Cashier duties.
• Stock and inventory management.
• Memorize, record, and comprehend menu items.
• Follow standard ordering and communicate special diet orders.
• Operate standard Snack Bar equipment safely and efficiently.
• Adhere to sanitation and food production codes.
• Clean and maintain Snack Bar equipment, utensils, and area.
• Work as a team to provide excellent customer service.
