Job summary

The Wild Animal Sanctuary seeks a full-time Snack Bar Associate at the end of our walk-way to help guests with orders, serve meals, and keep the snack bar running smoothly.

You will handle prep, stock, cleaning, and teamwork with a focus on friendly service and safety. Weekend availability is required; starting wage is $19 per hour with benefits after 60 days.

Qualifications

Snack Bar Associate

Full-Time - Hourly Starting at: $19.00

We are seeking a Full-Time Snack Bar Associate located at the end of our walk‑way. You will assist with guest orders, serving, prepping, food service, and cleaning and must be available to work full‑time including weekends. Join our team and serve for a cause!

Responsibilities

• Cashier duties
• Stock/Inventory
• Memorize, record, and comprehend menu items
• Follow standard ordering and communicate special diet orders
• Operate standard Snack Bar equipment safely and efficiently
• Adhere to all sanitation and food production codes
• Clean and maintain Snack Bar equipment, utensils, and overall area
• Work as a team to serve our guests while providing excellent customer service

Qualifications

• Previous experience in cooking, restaurants, food service, or other related fields: Preferred but not required.
• Strong attention to detail
• Ability to thrive in a fast‑paced environment
• Ability to work well in teams

Required or Other

• Valid Driver’s License
• High School Diploma/GED
• Able to lift 50 lbs or more
• Able to stand for long periods of time
• Perform other duties as requested
