Rambus, a premier chip and silicon IP provider in Hillsboro, Oregon, seeks a junior/Recent College Graduate Design Verification Engineer to join the DRAM Controller IP team. The role involves pre-silicon RTL verification for DDR/DRAM controller technologies and related interfaces, with a hybrid onsite/remote work model.

The position reports to the onsite director of Controller IP Verification and emphasizes testbench development, coverage planning, and regression test activities to ensure robust

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in EE/CS or related field.
• Experience with HDL verification concepts and testbench design.
• Familiarity with I/O controller technologies (USB, SATA/SAS, Ethernet, DDR/DRAM) desirable.
• Python and TCL scripting experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Testbench and test sequence development for verification of new controller technologies and features.
• Functional coverage planning, coverage item coding, and test suite augmentation.
• Regression test development, monitoring, debug/triage, and correction to test environment and RTL design.

Overview

Rambus, a premier chip and silicon IP provider, is seeking to hire an exceptional junior / Recent College Graduate Design Verification Engineer to join our DRAM Controller IP team in Hillsboro, Oregon. The successful candidate will participate in pre-silicon RTL Verification activities related to Rambus DRAM controller product line for controller technologies including DDR, LPDDR, HBM, and Graphics/GDDR controller technologies.

This is a Full Time position, reporting to the local onsite director of Controller IP Verification. Rambus offers a flexible work environment, embracing a hybrid approach for the majority of our office-based roles. We encourage employees to spend an average of at least three days per week working onsite while also allowing for two days of remote work.

Responsibilities

• Testbench and test sequence development for verification of new controller technologies and features
• Functional coverage planning, coverage item coding, and test suite augmentation to achieve Functional Coverage
• Regression test development, monitoring, debug/triage, and correction to test environment, sequences, debug of controller RTL design
• Development & support of Verification environment scripting and capabilities

Qualifications

• Bachelors Degree or above in EE/CS, project experience related to HDL logic Design-Verification
• SystemVerilog and/or UVM testbench, Verilog/SystemVerilog logic design/RTL familiarity/project work
• Pre-existing Experience / familiarity with one or more I/O controller technologies such as USB, SATA/SAS, Ethernet, Graphics/Display, or DDR/DRAM is desirable
• Working experience with Python and TCL scripting languages preferred

The US salary range for this full-time position is $100,100 to $185,900 . Our salary ranges are determined by role, level and location. The successful candidate’s starting pay will be determined based on job-related skills, experience, qualifications, work location and market conditions.
