Job summary

SpaceX in Texas is seeking an SMT Rework Technician to support PCBA rework and harness repairs across Starlink production lines. You will collaborate with our engineering team on developing new products such as PCBA and test rack systems.

You will own NPI rework builds, program and operate automated equipment, triage non-conforming PCBs, drive root-cause analysis, and document handoffs as processes transition to high-volume production.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of SMT/PCBA rework experience.
• IPC-A-610 and/or IPC-7711/7721 certification.
• Willing to work overtime and multiple shifts.
• Ability to lift up to 25 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Own and execute NPI rework builds across relevant work centers.
• Program, load, and operate automated/semi-automated rework equipment.
• Lead triage of non-conforming PCBAs and drive root-cause analysis.
• Maintain design integrity while meeting production timelines.
• Transition rework processes from development to high-volume production.
