Job summary

Quintech Electronics and Communications, Inc., located in Indiana, PA, is seeking a Surface Mount Technology (SMT) Programmer to create, update and maintain SMT programs for AOI, SPI machines. This role ensures programs are up to date and ECOs are verified.

The position is in-person, full-time on a 5/8 schedule (7:00AM-3:30PM). You will work at our headquarters in Indiana, PA and collaborate with manufacturing to optimize SMT processes and eliminate line defects.

Qualifications

• Experience with Panasonic data generation software.
• Experience with Mentor Graphics PCB design software.
• Familiar with Gerber viewers/editing software.
• Experience with Panasonic placement machine.
• Experience with Koh Young AOI and SPI equipment.

Responsibilities

• Program, optimize and support manufacturing.
• Develop and implement a plan to eliminate on-line program debug.
• Conduct root cause defect analyses.
• Read and follow work instructions, company standards and procedures.
• Perform tasks with high degree of care and attention to detail.
• Ensure all programs are up to date and error free.
• Transfer programs from database to SMT machines in a timely manner to improve SMT efficiency.
• Perform other related tasks and work overtime as needed.
