Job summary

Quintech Electronics and Communications, Inc. is seeking an SMT Programmer to create, update and maintain SMT programs including AOI and SPI machines, ensuring all programs are current and ECOs are verified.

This full-time, in-person role operates on a 5/8 schedule (7:00AM-3:30PM) at the Indiana, PA headquarters. The candidate will program, optimize and support manufacturing, develop plans to reduce on-line program defects, and perform root cause analyses with attention to detail.

Qualifications

• Experience with Panasonic data generation software.
• Mentor Graphics PCB design software experience.
• Gerber viewing/editing software familiarity.
• Panasonic placement machine experience.
• Koh Young AOI and SPI equipment experience.

Responsibilities

• Program, optimize and support manufacturing processes for SMT.
• Develop and implement plans to eliminate on-line program defects.
• Conduct root cause defect analyses.
• Read and follow work instructions, standards and procedures.
• Perform tasks with high degree of care and attention to detail.
• Keep all programs up to date and error-free.
• Transfer programs from database to SMT machines promptly to improve efficiency.
• Perform related tasks and work overtime as needed.

Job description

Quintech Electronics and Communications, Inc. is seeking a Surface Mount Technology (SMT) Programmer whose main responsibilities will include creating, updating and maintaining SMT programs including AOI, SPI machines. This role will ensure all programs are up to date and verify ECO's (Engineering change orders).

This position is full time - 5/8 schedule (7:00AM-3:30PM) - In Person Only

Located at our Quintech Electronics headquarters location in Indiana, PA!

Additional Duties

• Program, optimization and support manufacturing
• Develop and implement a plan to eliminate on line program debug
• Root cause Defect analyses
• Read and follow work instructions, company standards and procedures.
• Perform tasks with high degree of care and attention to detail.
• Ensure all programs are up to date, and error free.
• Program transfers from computer database to SMT machines in a timely manner to help improve SMT efficiency.
• Perform other related tasks that are assigned and work overtime as needed.
