You will collaborate with Production, Engineering, Quality, and Maintenance to meet quality and throughput goals. Responsibilities include creating and updating programs, providing technical support during setup, troubleshooting, and driving continuous improvement across SMT

Qualifications

  • Experience with SMT programming, SMT manufacturing processes, or automated electronics assembly equipment preferred.
  • Ability to read and interpret assembly drawings, schematics, BOMs, process documentation, and engineering changes.
  • Strong troubleshooting and analytical problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

  • Creates and maintains SMT machine programs using established standards.
  • Updates programs to support ECNs, product revisions, and line changes.
  • Provides technical support during equipment setup, operation, and changeovers.
  • Troubleshoots programming issues, machine errors, and placement discrepancies to minimize downtime.
  • Monitors equipment performance and suggests process improvements for efficiency and quality.
  • Supports development of programs for placement machines, routers, reflow ovens, and solder systems.
  • Collaborates with Engineering on DFМ feedback and process improvements.
  • Maintains documentation of programs and settings; trains operators and technicians.
