Qualifications

• 8+ years of experience in electronic production environment preferred.
• Experience manufacturing and inspecting Printed Circuit Boards and their assemblies.
• Operation and programming experience with SMT and THT production equipment.
• Experience overseeing maintenance of SMT and THT production equipment.
• Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing Principles.
• Associate degree or higher a plus.

Responsibilities

• Establishes processes and process control for SMT lines and related production areas.
• Establishes process monitoring to ensure processes remain in control.
• Works in a cross-functional team to document and improve existing processes.
• Supports Continuous Improvement to drive Operational Excellence.
• Collaborates with machine vendors for technical support to improve production processes.
• May assist in orienting, training, and checking the work of other employees.
• Troubleshoots SMT, THT, and Selective Solder issues on the production floor.
• Recommends changes and upgrades to equipment and methods to improve efficiency.
• Identifies bottlenecks and devises solutions to resolve them.
• Monitors scrap, rework, and other quality metrics with Quality to drive improvements.
• Advises on floor plan designs to support process improvements.
