Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Industrial, Electrical Engineering or equivalent.
• Minimum 2 years experience supporting manufacturing.
• Medical manufacturing experience and ISO 13485 familiarity a plus.
• ISO 9001 quality management system knowledge.
• 5S Lean Six Sigma practices knowledge.
• Experience in process optimization and process engineering.

Responsibilities

• Support SMT and through-hole soldering manufacturing.
• Evaluate new equipment, processes, and materials.
• Generate post-build/DFM reports and present to customers.
• Component analysis and failure analysis.
• Review engineering change orders and apply to processes.
• Quote new assemblies with the quotes group.
• Drive process improvement and development for SMT.
• Review returned materials and implement corrective actions.
• Train production personnel and generate process documentation.
• Support new product introduction and development.
• Be flexible to take on other roles outside SMT as needed.
