ASSA ABLOY Group is seeking a skilled SMT Process Engineer to join our New Haven manufacturing team. You will develop and optimize PCBAs, apply conformal coating expertise, and lead DOEs/PFMEA to boost yield and quality in a fast-paced environment.
You will guide Operators, collaborate with cross-functional teams, and ensure BOM/Routing accuracy while driving Lean improvements and robust documentation for ongoing production and NPI activities.

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated SMT Process Engineer to join our manufacturing team. This individual will be responsible for developing and implementing tooling, processes, documentation, and work instructions necessary for the successful production of printed circuit board assemblies (PCBAs). A strong background in conformal coating processes is essential for this role.
The ideal candidate is a self-starter with excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, and thrives in a collaborative, fast-paced environment. This role requires the ability to manage multiple assignments efficiently and thoroughly, while driving continuous improvement in quality and productivity.
This role will sit full-time in New Haven, CT reporting to the Profit Center Manager for Printed Circuit Board Assembly.
