Job summary

Personnel People in Pawtucket, RI is seeking a reliable SMT Operator to set up, operate, and maintain SMT equipment used in PCB assembly. Experience with SMT programming is a plus.

You will perform PCB assembly, equipment setup, feeder prep for pick-and-place, PCBs loading/unloading, and routine maintenance, while following IPC standards and safety rules.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of surface mount assembly and printed circuit board manufacturing.
• Familiarity with IPC-A-610.
• Ability to identify and distinguish electronic components.
• Basic computer and machine operation skills.
• Ability to read and follow written and computerized instructions.
• Ability to safely operate manufacturing machinery.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to work accurately.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• SMT programming experience is a plus.
• Previous SMT or electronics manufacturing experience.

Hours are

Monday through Friday 7am to 3:30pm

The pay is $28.00 or more depending on experience
