Job summary

Etemco is seeking an on-site SMT Assembly technician in Lancaster, PA, to operate and maintain stencil printers, pick-and-place systems, and reflow ovens. You will follow instructions, inspect boards, and keep a clean work area to ensure product quality.

The role requires attention to detail, ability to stand for long periods, and collaborative teamwork. A high school diploma or equivalent with technical training is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Set up, operate, and maintain SMT machinery including stencil printers, pick-and-place, and reflow ovens.
• Follow written and verbal work instructions.
• Assess boards for soldering quality and accept/reject as needed.
• Maintain a clean, organized work area to ensure product integrity.
• Perform other duties to help meet company goals and objectives.

Job description

Operates and maintains automated surface‑mount equipment for the purpose of building printed circuit boards.

Responsibilities

• Responsible for setup, operation, and maintenance of surface‑mount machinery (Stencil Printer, Samsung/Hanwha Pick and Place, and Reflow Ovens)
• Follows written and verbal work instructions.
• Understands soldering application for acceptance/rejection of board.
• Maintains a clean work environment to ensure product integrity and quality.
• Performs other duties as assigned to achieve company goals and objectives.

Schedule

7:00AM - 3:30PM (8‑hour shift w/lunch and two paid breaks)

This position is on‑site in Lancaster, PA. Reliable transportation is required.
