Qualifications

• 3–5 years SMT equipment experience.
• Strong understanding of PCB assembly processes and electronic components.
• Experience troubleshooting common SMT machine issues and placement errors.
• Ability to read and follow assembly documentation, work instructions, and visual standards.

Responsibilities

• SMT Machine Operation & Setup: Operate and monitor surface mount assembly equipment used to place electronic components onto printed circuit boards.
• Component Handling & Material Management: Load and verify component reels, trays, feeders, and boards prior to production runs.
• Troubleshooting & Process Support: Identify and troubleshoot common SMT machine errors and work with technicians or supervisors to resolve issues.
• Inspection, Rework & Soldering: Perform visual inspection and solder touch-up or rework as needed.
• Documentation & Process Compliance: Record production counts and machine status; follow procedures.
• Safety & Continuous Improvement: Follow safety procedures and communicate improvement opportunities.
