Emerald Technologies has an exciting opportunity for an SMT Operator I to join its Medford, OR team!

An SMT Operator Level 1 primarily sets up and operates Surface Mount Technology (SMT) equipment, such as pick-and-place machines, screen printers, and reflow ovens. Key duties include loading components onto machine feeders, verifying parts and machine settings, performing basic operations and minor adjustments, performing manual component placement and inspection, and conducting preventative maintenance on the machinery. The role also involves basic quality checks of finished printed circuit board assemblies (PCBAs) and maintaining production records

QUALIFICATIONS (Education & Experience):

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• 0–1 year of SMT operator experience
• Understanding of SMT equipment operation
• Ability to identify different electronic components.
• Basic knowledge of the printing and soldering processes.Adherence to safety protocols and procedures.
• Familiarity with reading blueprints, diagrams, and processing documentation.
