Job summary

Nesco Resource in Tempe, AZ is seeking an SMT Operator for Direct Placement. The role focuses on setting up SMT lines, operating SMT printers, wave solder, and ovens to meet IPC standards.

The ideal candidate has experience in SMT operation, a technical diploma, and the ability to read engineering drawings and communicate clearly within a team. On-site position with benefits offered.

Qualifications

• Experience in SMT operation and maintenance is a plus.
• Technical Diploma is an asset.
• Ability to read and understand instructions, engineering drawings, and short correspondence.
• Ability to write simple correspondence and present information in one-on-one and small group settings.
• Intermediate knowledge of Microsoft Office and machine applications.

Responsibilities

• Set up and tear down of SMT line.

• Set up and tear down of SMT line
• Operation of SMT machine, printers, wave solder, and ovens
• Review and interpret IPC, internal and customer supplied manufacturing documents
• Machine edits and in process trouble shooting
• Archiving of machine generated reports
• Daily machine preventative maintenance activities
• Producing product to required IPC standards
• Other duties as assigned

Requirements

• Previous related experience and/or training in SMT operation and maintenance a plus
• Technical Diploma is an asset
