Job summary

Fralock in Milpitas, CA is hiring for a Full Time Microsection Technician working onsite. You will read prints, inspect cross sections, and document results with IPC-aligned methods. The role requires lifting up to 50 lbs and standing for extended periods.

We offer medical, dental, vision, 401k with company match and PTO. DOE hourly rate from $23.00 to $28.85, with benefits included.

Qualifications

• Knowledge in understanding prints and specifications.
• Ability to visually verify fine detail work.
• Ability to pull/lift and carry 50 lbs.
• Must be able to stand/walk for a long period of time.
• Ability to read, write and communicate in English to the degree necessary to perform the job.

Responsibilities

• Read, review and interpret travelers and prints.
• Review and analyze Cross Section using microscope.
• Identify defects according to IPC.
• Grind mounds, arrange coupons, polish and set up final cross section.
• Perform basic microsection duties in a timely manner.
• Computer data entry of cross section results.
• Produce reports on all classes and types.
• Perform preventive maintenance (PM) as needed.
