Job summary

Jabil is seeking an SMT Machine Programmer to create, maintain and optimize Fuji NXT programs across the production floor. You will support New Product Introductions, line balancing, and setup creation for multiple assembly families.

You will revise programs for engineering changes, monitor OEE and downtime, track feeder performance, and work with Nexim software applications to drive efficiency and quality in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• 2+ years SMT experience in an operator/tech/engineering role.
• Demonstrated knowledge of Fuji SMT Programming, line balancing and setup creation.

Responsibilities

• Create, maintain and optimize Fuji NXT machine programs across all platforms.
• Support New Product Introduction program creation and line balancing.
• Revise programs due to engineering changes and develop shared setups for common assembly families.
• Monitor machine OEE, downtime causes and feeder performance; track Nexim software applications.
• Develop preventive maintenance plans and respond to production engineering needs.
