Job summary

Jabil is seeking an experienced SMT Machine Programmer in Saint Petersburg, FL. You will create, maintain and optimize Fuji NXT programs, enable new product introductions, balance lines, and revise programs per engineering changes.

Responsibilities include developing common setups, monitoring OEE and feeder performance, and leveraging Nexim software for data-driven improvements. 2+ years SMT experience required.

Qualifications

• 2+ years SMT experience in an operator/tech/engineering role.
• Demonstrated knowledge of Fuji SMT programming, line balancing and setup creation.

Responsibilities

• Create, maintain and optimize machine programs across Fuji NXT equipment.
• Perform New Product Introduction program creation and line balancing.
• Implement program revisions due to engineering changes.
• Create shared/common setups/programs for multiple assembly families.
• Monitor OEE, downtime causes, attrition and maintenance data; manage Nexim software.

The SMT Machine Programmer is responsible for creating, maintaining and optimizing the machine programs across all platforms of Fuji NXT equipment in the factory. This includes:

• New Product Introduction Program Creation and line balancing
• Program revisions due to engineering changes
• Creating shared/common setups/programs to use across common assembly families
• Monitoring machine OEE, downtime causes, component attrition, Preventative Maintenance plans, feeder performance data, and Nexim software applications

Additional responsibilities may include: SPI Program creation, Solder Paste Printing program creation

Requirements:

• Demonstrated knowledge of Fuji SMT Programming, line balancing, setup creation, etc.
• 2+ years minimum SMT experience in an operator/tech/engineering role
