Job summary

IESCORP in Solon, Ohio is seeking a reliable Machine Operator to join our production team, with training provided on SMT equipment and processes.

Responsibilities include setting up and operating SMT machines, loading feeders and materials, monitoring performance, inspecting boards for defects, following SOPs, and maintaining a clean, organized work area. Overtime is mandatory on Fridays when scheduled.

Qualifications

• Previous manufacturing, machine operation, production, or assembly experience.
• Strong attention to detail and quality.
• Ability to follow written and verbal instructions.
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment.
• Ability to stand for extended periods and perform repetitive tasks.
• Basic computer skills.

Responsibilities

• Assist in the setup and operation of SMT (Surface Mount Technology) machines.
• Load feeders, components, and materials onto SMT equipment.
• Monitor machine performance and notify the team of any issues.
• Perform visual inspection of circuit boards for quality and defects.
• Follow work instructions, blueprints, and standard operating procedures.
• Maintain production efficiency and quality standards.
• Keep the work area clean and organized.
• Support rework or touch-up processes as needed.
