Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Background in manufacturing or SMT helpful but not required.
• Basic mechanical and computer skills.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to identify small components and markings.
• Ability to read and follow work instructions and BOMs.
• Ability to perform basic math and record production information.
• Good communication and problem-solving skills.
• Dependable attendance and willingness to learn.

Responsibilities

• Set up and operate high-speed SMT equipment to assemble PCBs.
• Load feeders, reels, boards and materials into production equipment.
• Verify part numbers, values, quantities, and feeder locations.
• Operate solder paste printers, placement machines, conveyors, and reflow ovens.
• Monitor production for quality and output; address alarms and misfeeds.
• Document production, material, traceability and quality records.
• Follow drawings, BOMs, and customer requirements.
• Handle moisture-sensitive devices and ESD procedures.
• Maintain clean, safe, organized work area; support changeovers.
• Communicate issues to supervisor; assist with maintenance.
