Job summary

Dorman Products is seeking a Machine Operator - SMT to support our Lewisberry, PA production team. You will operate surface mount technology machines, monitor production flow, and help ensure quality through proper documentation and adherence to safety protocols.

As a team contributor, you will participate in continuous improvement and maintain a clean, organized workspace while supporting production goals and safety standards. Training will be provided for those new to SMT operations.

Qualifications

• Experience in manufacturing or machine operation preferred but not required.
• High school diploma or equivalent required to support technical understanding.
• Possess willingness to learn and follow detailed work instructions.

Responsibilities

• Learn and follow detailed operating instructions and safety protocols.
• Operate and monitor SMT machines with precision to maintain production flow.
• Troubleshoot minor SMT issues to minimize downtime and keep schedules.
• Complete documentation related to production counts and quality checks.
• Count finished goods and monitor inventory of supplies.
