Job summary

Foxconn Industrial Internet - FII is seeking an experienced SMT AOI / SPI / X-Ray Process Engineer to enhance automated inspection in a high-mix, high-complexity electronics manufacturing environment. You will develop, debug, optimize, and sustain SPI, AOI, and 2D/3D X-Ray inspection programs to ensure world-class quality and manufacturing performance.

The role involves handling PCB assemblies with 14,000+ component placements and advanced packaging technologies, collaborating with Quality,

Qualifications

• 3+ years of hands-on experience developing and maintaining SPI, AOI, and X-Ray inspection programs.
• Experience creating, debugging, and optimizing inspection programs in a production environment.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Create, validate, optimize, and maintain SPI, AOI, and 2D/3D X-Ray inspection programs.
• Reduce false calls while improving defect detection and inspection coverage.
• Support NPI launches, production builds, and continuous process improvement initiatives.
• Analyze inspection data to drive improvements in FPY, yield, DPMO, and process capability.
• Investigate and resolve SMT defects including root cause analysis and corrective actions.
• Support SMT repair and rework activities and validate repair effectiveness using inspection technologies.
• Collaborate with Quality, Manufacturing, NPI, and Production teams to improve SMT processes and product quality.

Education

Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Electronics, Manufacturing, or related field
