Job summary

鴻海精密工業股份有限公司 is seeking an engineer to design, maintain, and optimize SMT fixtures for the production line. You will work with production, engineering, and quality teams to improve fixture reliability and yield, ensuring PCB functionality during SMT processing.

A Bachelor’s in Mechanical Engineering is required, with 1–3 years in fixture maintenance or tooling design, preferably in electronics/manufacturing. On-site role with occasional overtime.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's in Mechanical Engineering or above.
• 1-3 years of experience in Fixture maintenance, tooling design, or precision equipment repair (electronics/smartphone manufacturing preferred).

Responsibilities

• Fixture design: analyze and design fixtures using CAD software and propose improvements to optimize production and fixture life expectancy.
• Fixture purchase: collaborate with production and asset department to verify vendors, validate new fixtures and enhance fixture inventory for mass production.
• New fixture IQC: develop and implement SOPs for IQC procedures to validate samples from new vendors to meet production specs.
• Fixture diagnose and repair: ensure fixture performance, reduce maintenance costs, and prevent production downtime.
• SMT fixture document management and technician training: formulate and compile operation standards, and train technicians.

Purpose of the position

Responsible for design, maintenance,optimization, and quality inspection offixtures for SMT production line (Surface Mount Technology, consumer electronics industry).

Collaboratecloselywithproduction,engineering,andqualityteamstoensurefixture reliability,improveyield,andimprove fixture usage efficiency, reassuring PCB functionality during the SMT production process.

Duties and Responsibilities

1. 1. Fixture design: analyzeand design fixtureusingCADsoftwareandproposeimprovements to optimize production and fixture life expectancy.

Education and work experience
