Job summary

Etched is seeking an Equipment Technician to maintain and support SMT production equipment. You will work with Production, Process Engineering, and Quality to resolve issues, support changes, and prevent recurring failures.

A practical, hands-on approach and disciplined maintenance mindset are essential. The role emphasizes line uptime, product quality, and manufacturing efficiency in a frontiers-focused hardware environment.

Qualifications

• Hands-on maintain/troubleshoot SMT equipment (printers, SPI, pick-and-place, reflow, AOI).
• Read manuals, schematics, and use diagnostic tools effectively.
• Ability to document work, follow procedures, and communicate clearly.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on SMT line equipment.
• Diagnose and repair mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, sensor faults; log root causes.
• Maintain feeders, nozzles, tooling, and wear components; support setup/changeovers.
