Job summary

Flex is seeking an Equipment Maintenance Tech based in Austin, Texas, reporting to the Maintenance Supervisor. The role involves maintaining conveyor systems and production equipment, with a 3:00pm–11:30pm shift (Mon-Fri).

Typical daily tasks include troubleshooting, repair work, preventive maintenance, calibrations, and assisting engineers with equipment installation. Travel to other Flex sites or vendors may be required, and both software and hardware maintenance may be performed at the

Qualifications

• Typically requires an associate degree in related field, military technical training or equivalent education and training.
• Typically requires 5 years of related experience.
• SMT experience is a must

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot machine malfunctions and isolate failure mechanisms.
• Repair the failure mechanism in a cost-effective manner.
• Perform preventive maintenance at specified intervals and schedules.
• Perform calibrations and re-qualifications on equipment at specified intervals and schedules.
• Assist process technicians and engineers with installation/removal of process equipment.
