Job summary

Foxconn Technology Group is seeking multiple SMT equipment engineers to ensure uptime and optimal performance on SMT production lines. You will lead preventive maintenance, rapid troubleshooting, and process optimization to support high-precision electronics manufacturing.

You will maintain equipment such as FUJI NXT and Universal mounters, GKG printers, Holly SPI/AOI, AndA/Speedline/Asymtek dispensers, HB reflow ovens, and related systems; you will write SOPs, analyze failures, and train staff

Qualifications

• Familiar with SMT equipment mechanical/electrical systems and brands.
• Able to read electrical schematics and use test instruments.
• Capable of learning SMT control software and basic PLC debugging.

Responsibilities

• Perform daily maintenance, calibration, and preventive maintenance on SMT equipment (mounters, printers, inspectors, dispensers, reflow ovens).
• Diagnose failures quickly, perform emergency repairs, and develop long-term solutions to minimize downtime.
• Adjust placement accuracy and printing parameters to improve yield and product reliability.
• Assist in equipment modification and performance enhancement projects.
• Write maintenance SOPs and failure analysis reports, documenting findings.
• Train technicians and collaborate with production, process and quality teams.
