Job summary

Western Alliance Bank in the Phoenix area seeks an SMS Treasury Management Advisor to develop new Treasury Management business and expand existing relationships at the divisional level. You will assist in designing new services and marketing programs, building partnerships with sales teams and Relationship Managers to convert prospects into clients and broaden multi-national treasury engagements.

• 1+ years of related experience in Financial Industry, Branch or Treasury Management Support.
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience required.

Responsibilities

• Support Treasury Management Advisor Manager in managing all elements of Treasury Management sales cycle, including business development, prospect qualification, needs analysis and closing the sale.
• Develop independent channels to prospect for new Treasury Management clients and maintain a pipeline of targets.
• Maintain knowledge of Treasury Management products and industry trends to design customer-centric treasury solutions and provide training.
• Represent the Bank in local and regional Treasury Management communities and industry groups.

SMS Treasury Management Advisor

What you'll do:

As an SMS Treasury Management Advisor you'll be responsible at the divisional level for the development of new Treasury Management business, the expansion of existing business relationships and the delivery of the Treasury Management services to new and existing customers. You'll be responsible for assisting with the design of new Treasury Management services and the development of marketing programs. One of your key responsibilities is to build strong partnerships with appropriate sales partners and Relationship Managers to use consultative and strategic sales skills to turn prospects into clients and to expand business of existing customers.

• Responsible for supporting the Treasury Management Advisor Manager in managing all elements of Treasury Management sales cycle including business development, prospect qualification, needs analysis and close of sale. Retain and grow customer portfolio with a program of service review, regular calling and industry training.
• Develop independent channels to prospect for new Treasury Management clients and manages the process to maintain a pipeline of potential targets. Complete calls independently or with appropriate partners on customers and prospects in the assigned territory with a focus on those with extensive, complex and/or multi-national treasury management requirements.
• Maintain current and comprehensive knowledge of Treasury Management products, services, industry trends, competitive environment and service issues. Use this knowledge to design customer-centric treasury management solutions, and provide consultative expertise on the liquidity management cycle. Also responsible for providing industry and product training to internal and external audiences including customers, resource groups and Relationship Managers.
• Represent the Bank in the local and regional Treasury Management communities, and in industry groups.

What you'll need:

• 1+ years of related experience in Financial Industry, Branch or Treasury Management Support, or similar field. May have completed a credit training program.
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience required.
• Entry level knowledge of general banking operations, including deposit operations, loan administration, treasury management and/or other commercial banking products and services.
• Entry level knowledge of applicable regulatory and legal compliance obligations, rules and regulations, industry standards and practices.
• Entry level speaking and writing communications skills.
• Occasional travel required.
