The right candidate will bring deep expertise in safety engineering, hands-on SW/HW experience, and a collaborative leadership style to drive safety initiatives with cross-functional teams and external stakeholders.

Qualifications

• Expertise in safety engineering
• Hands-on experience with SW, HW and operations
• Experience with frontier technology and AI/ML development
• Strong cross-functional collaboration skills
• Ability to articulate safety strategy to regulators and industry bodies

Responsibilities

• Head the Office of Safety within Public Trust and direct the executive Safety Committee.
• Prepare and improve company-wide Safety Cases for products and ensure consistency across functions.
• Serve as SMS Executive to implement Safety Management Systems across the company.
• Lead safety strategy deployment through managers and safety engineers in each area.
• Represent Nuro in dialogue with regulators, industry bodies, and media.
