Job summary

Hometown Coffee & Juice in Winnetka is seeking a Smoothie Technician to join our BOH team. You’ll prepare smoothies, juices, and smoothie bowls by following recipes, keeping ingredients organized, and ensuring every ticket is accurate and on time.

Qualifications

• 1–2 years of experience in a busy kitchen (training available)
• Knowledge of food safety practices (ServSafe certification needed, can be obtained at hiring)
• Ability to work as part of a team in a fast-paced environment

Responsibilities

• Take charge of your station, ensuring menu items are prepared to recipe standards and served with consistency
• Be flexible and ready to pitch in wherever needed to support the team during peak hours
• Keep your station organized and rotate stations as needed
• Work closely with the BOH team to ensure tasks are completed efficiently and on time
• Follow safety and sanitation protocols to maintain a clean and safe work environment
• Follow portion control guidelines to minimize waste and help control food costs
