Job summary

Hometown Coffee & Juice is seeking a Smoothie Technician to craft smoothies, juices, smoothie bowls and other menu items with speed, accuracy and consistency. You will manage ticket flow, follow recipes, keep your station organized and work closely with the team to deliver quality products and a great customer experience.

The role emphasizes following food safety standards, teamwork, and ownership of your station.

Qualifications

• Previous kitchen or food service experience preferred.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to follow recipes accurately.
• Knowledge of food safety practices.
• ServSafe certification preferred or can be obtained upon hiring.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.

Responsibilities

• Prepare smoothies, juices, smoothie bowls, and other assigned menu items according to recipes and standards.
• Manage ticket flow and prepare orders within expected service times.
• Keep station clean, organized, stocked, and ready for service.
• Rotate stations and support other areas as needed.
• Follow recipes, portion standards, and preparation procedures carefully.
• Ensure every menu item meets standards for taste, texture, appearance, and presentation.
• Check orders for accuracy before they move to the customer.
• Communicate product or equipment concerns to leadership.
