Smithfield Foods, Inc. is seeking a Smok er Laborer in Peru, Indiana for onsite, full-time work. You will operate smokehouse equipment and production lines, handling heavy materials and documenting cooking cycles while ensuring safety and product quality.

The role requires physical endurance, the ability to stand for long shifts, and adherence to PPE and sanitation standards. Early mornings and overtime may be required to meet production demands.

Formación

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Stand for up to a 12-hour shift in a production environment.
• Willing to work around animal products and strong odors.
• Able to lift up to 60 lbs and operate with PPE as required.
• Able to follow oral and written instructions.

Responsabilidades

• Operate smokehouse and production equipment to prepare meat products.
• Push heavy materials and monitor cooking cycles to ensure quality and safety.
• Maintain cleanliness and safety on the production line and document activities.
• Follow safety protocols, wear PPE, and adhere to shift schedules.
