Job summary

TALENT Software Services seeks a Smile CDR Administrator to lead platform administration, configuration, and operational oversight for an enterprise interoperability platform. You will configure Smile CDR, support FHIR APIs, troubleshoot issues, manage environments, and ensure CMS and interoperability compliance.

The ideal candidate brings deep Smile CDR expertise, FHIR standards knowledge, REST API security, and a track record of supporting production healthcare platforms.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of healthcare interoperability experience.
• 3+ years administering or supporting Smile CDR.
• Strong knowledge of HL7 FHIR (R4), REST APIs, SMART on FHIR, OAuth 2.0, JSON/XML, healthcare data exchange.
• Experience supporting production healthcare platforms.
• Experience troubleshooting API integrations and platform performance issues.
• Strong SQL and database fundamentals.
• Experience with Linux and scripting.

Responsibilities

• Administer and configure Smile CDR environments across Development, Test, and Production.
• Manage Smile CDR modules, partitions, repositories, channels, security, and API configurations.
• Support FHIR R4 repositories, SMART on FHIR, and interoperability implementations.
• Monitor platform health, performance, availability, and capacity.
• Troubleshoot platform, API, and data ingestion issues.
• Configure and support REST APIs and integration endpoints.
• Partner with architecture, engineering, and business teams on interoperability initiatives.
• Support CMS, ONC, Prior Authorization, Patient Access, Provider Access, Payer-to-Payer, and BCBSA Interoperability programs.
• Implement security controls, access management, audit logging, and compliance requirements.
• Create operational runbooks, deployment procedures, and platform standards.
• Coordinate vendor support activities when required and drive internal ownership of the platform.
