Job summary

Prescient Edge is seeking a SME- Geospatial Analyst to support a Federal Government client in Fort Gordon, GA. This role requires a strong background in geospatial analysis and information systems, along with expertise in industry standard applications such as Esri ArcGIS and QGIS. Candidates must possess an active TS/SCI security clearance and relevant experience to fulfill responsibilities including presenting complex geospatial data and collaborating on technical projects. Description

• College degree must be in Geospatial Information & Services (GIS), Geomatics, Geospatial Sciences, or related field.
• Relevant experience must be in geospatial analysis and/or geospatial information systems.
• Current/active TS/SCI security clearance with Single Scope Background Investigation (SSBI).
• Expert knowledge of industry standard location analysis desktop and server applications such as Esri ArcGIS Platform, QGIS, MapBox, GeoServer, etc.
• Experience using and managing spatial relational databases including Oracle, MSSQL, or PostGreSQL/PostGIS.
• Extensive experience with geographically derived assessments, enterprise data integration, spatial data governance, metadata management and interpretation of business and performance metrics.
• Expert ability to present geospatial information via multimedia presentations and written reports.
• Demonstrated experience using geospatial Python, R, SAS, Java or other coding languages to deliver custom geoprocessing and analytical workflows.
• Experience in coordination and collaboration with industry counterparts on technical projects, software and service assessment, and other related subject material.

Job Requirements

Desired experiences

• Experience with Intelligence Community (IC) and DoD geospatial data and repositories.
• Experience working within common project management frameworks.
• Demonstrated knowledge and experience in cartography, GIS, spatial modeling.
• Demonstrated experience using Python, R, SAS, Java or other coding languages to deliver custom solutions.
• Familiarity with Army, DoD, or IC geospatial processes, policy, and programs.
• Private sector (e.g., GISP, Esri Professional, etc.) or government (e.g., GPC series) professional GIS certification.
• Knowledge of Microsoft office tools and graphic design principles.
• Familiarity with DoD/NSG Structured Observation Management (SOM) and object- based production.

Education

• MA or MS in a technical field such as Geomatics, Geospatial Sciences, or related degree AND 10 years of relevant experience;
• BA/BS degree in a technical field such as Geomatics, Geospatial Sciences, or related degree AND 15 years of relevant experience.

Security Clearance

• Active TS/SCI and with the ability to obtain a CI Poly if needed.

• Fort Gordon, GA.
