JM Eagle is seeking a Plant Manager to lead production operations in Ohio, ensuring efficient manufacturing of plastic pipe products. The role focuses on organizing the plant, hiring and training staff, and enforcing cost controls and safety programs.

The ideal candidate will have a engineering degree, 7+ years in production with 3+ years in plastics extrusion, and strong supervisory and communication skills to manage a complex operation and drive improvements.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or related field or equivalent experience documented and accepted by JM Eagle.
  • Seven (7) years in a production environment, at least three (3) years in plastic pipe or extruding process manufacturing environment.
  • Supervisory experience, people skills, ability to manage complex working environment.

Responsibilities

  • Establish and direct organization to operate plant facility.

  • Develop and administer employee and community relations program to effect harmonious employee and public relations.
  • Develop and administer operating budgets and standard for cost measurement.
  • Develop and administer corporate programs such as cost reduction, capital expenditures, energy conservation, industrial hygiene, safety and housekeeping programs for plant operations.
  • Responsible to maintain equipment, facilities, and company assets in good working order. Must manage adequate maintenance to ensure the manufacture of the company’s product line to internal standards and required specifications.
  • Provide necessary customer service and foster effective customer relations.
  • Perform special projects and other job-related duties as directed by the Vice President of Production.
