Job summary

VF Corporation seeks a Sales Operations Analyst to develop and maintain data and reporting that informs sales and streamlines operations for the Smartwool and icebreaker brands. You will support wholesale strategy, reporting, and forecasting under the Sr Manager Nora Sales Operations.

Ideal candidates bring 1–3 years of related experience, advanced Excel, and foundational Power BI, Power Automate, and Power Query skills. Expect cross‑functional collaboration and data‑driven decision making.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain wholesale reporting to inform sales and streamline processes.
  • Create and refine sales dashboards and reporting views for sell‑in and delivery execution.
  • Support order status, delivery risk reporting, and forecasting across key accounts and channels.
  • Analyze sales programs for financial viability and assist in data organization via SharePoint.

How You Will Make a Difference
What you will do:

The Sales Operations Analyst contributes to the technical and functional development and delivery of reliable data and reporting that informs sales, streamlines operational processes, and customer interactions in support of the Smartwool / icebreaker strategic plans and revenue goals. Under the strategic leadership of the Sr Manager NORA Sales Operations, you will maintain and refine both Rep‑facing and internal‑facing wholesale business reporting that aligns across all brand departments; delivering a core set of tools and reporting views that support sales planning, sell‑in, and delivery execution.

How you will do it:

You will execute on wholesale strategies by developing and supporting reporting to carry out the Smartwool and icebreaker wholesale growth strategies, evolving with the marketplace by winning with winners, capturing additional business, and delivering consistent, concise, and actionable data. The reporting suite includes:

  • Sales Dashboards (Agency, Account, Rep Assortments packages)
  • Order status reports and delivery risk reporting
  • Seasonal agency/account go‑aling and forecasting
  • Order management and delivery, customer PO and item‑level detail analysis to support seasonal sales cycles and tracking to financial forecasts and plans
  • Sales program financial viability analysis
  • File organization and distribution via SharePoint microsites
  • Sales process‑driven “tool kit” that supports reports necessary for delivering information and statistics to support assortment planning and sell‑in
  • Dealer/retailer product “opportunity” reporting (consolidated real‑time trend analysis and distribution)
  • Orderbook collection/comparison/tracking to plan
  • Forecast alignment (Key Account, Channel, and all others)
  • OTC benchmarking and alignment (Sales, Finance, Operations, Supply Planning)
What success looks like:

You will contribute to the report development and maintenance that informs sales, streamlines operational processes, and customer interactions in support of the Smartwool and icebreaker strategic plans and revenue goals. You will refine, deliver, and drive adoption of ongoing reporting and tool kits that directly align with seasonal sales and product delivery cycles. Over time your input will be autonomous, and you will bring ideas and features to the reporting suite you support to identify and capture additional revenue and partnerships.

Educational Position Requirements:

A formal education and subsequent undergraduate/graduate degrees are nice to have, but we are most interested in your total experience and professional achievements.

  • Advanced skills with Microsoft Excel

  • Foundational skills/experience with MS Power Automate
  • Relational database management (Power Query)
  • Solid navigational and editing experience with Microsoft Teams / SharePoint

  • Brand product lifecycle and wholesale business planning > delivery (socks, apparel, accessories)
  • Revenue forecasting process and procedures
  • Wholesale go‑to‑market and product launch for preseason sell‑in excellence
  • In‑season product delivery and wholesale sell‑through planning and management
  • Sales program analysis development improvement and analysis
  • Margin viability and financial incentive analysis in support of brand and dealer business objectives
  • Functional understanding of enterprise resource planning systems – SAP
  • Familiarity with IBM Business Objects
  • Familiarity with IBM Cognos
  • Comprehension of DAX language (Power BI back‑end database concepts and competencies)
  • Functional comprehension of demand planning and supply chain principles required for delivery and revenue realization
  • Dealer partner marketing promotion and in‑season incentive creation and implementation through supporting wholesale marketing teams and owners

Hiring Range

$60,480.00 USD – $75,600.00 USD annually

Incentive Potential

This position is eligible for additional compensation awards that may include an annual incentive plan, sales incentive, or commission potential. Specific details will be provided during the recruiting and interview process.
