In accordance with the Trust/Research Academic Staff Agreement, this position has a comprehensive benefits package and an annual salary range of $59,822 to $82,266. This position has an initial appointment of 1 year with the possibility of renewal.
Location - This role is in-person at North Campus Edmonton.

Position Summary
The Department of Medicine at the University of Alberta is seeking a Project Coordinator to join the Technology & Textiles Working Group (TTWG) within the Smartwear Revolution-a cutting-edge, transdisciplinary research initiative funded by the Canada First Research Excellence Fund. This team brings together engineers, material scientists, clinicians, artists, and people with lived experience to co-create wearable smart textiles that enhance strength, mobility, and independence for aging adults and people with disabilities.
The TTWG develops integrated sensor fabrics, power systems, control platforms, and advanced textile structures to address real-world needs. Reporting to the Senior Research Administrator and TTWG Lead, the Project Coordinator will manage research operations across multiple disciplines and support collaborations with academic, clinical, and industry partners.
