Job summary

OpenKyber is seeking a skilled Smartsheet BI specialist to design scalable solutions, dashboards, and reporting tools that transform complex data into actionable insights. The role requires hands-on work with Smartsheet, large datasets, and on-site collaboration in Minneapolis, MN several days per week.

The ideal candidate will connect Smartsheet with ERP, Procore, Power BI, and Salesforce, build advanced formulas, automate workflows, and contribute to real-time reporting for project performance.

Qualifications

• Hands-on experience using Smartsheet in a BI, reporting, or ops role.
• Ability to manage large, complex datasets with accuracy.
• Proficiency developing complex formulas and automated workflows.
• Experience building dashboards and visual reporting tools.
• Familiarity with Smartsheet automation features (Data Shuttle/DataMesh) and BI integrations.

Responsibilities

• Design and maintain Smartsheet-based solutions to organize high-volume data and improve visibility across projects and operations.
• Build interactive dashboards and reporting views delivering timely, actionable insights for stakeholders.
• Create advanced formulas and logic within Smartsheet to support analysis and decision-making.
• Configure and manage automations, Data Shuttle processes, and DataMesh workflows.
• Connect Smartsheet with ERP systems, scheduling apps, Procore, Power BI, and Salesforce as needed.
• Partner with internal teams to translate reporting goals into BI tools.
• Support development of real-time reporting to improve tracking and project performance.
• Contribute on-site in Minneapolis, Minnesota several days per week.

• Connect Smartsheet with business platforms such as ERP systems, scheduling applications, Procore, Power BI, and Salesforce where needed.
• Partner with internal teams to understand reporting goals and translate operational needs into effective business intelligence tools.
• Support the development of real-time reporting capabilities that improve tracking, status monitoring, and project performance analysis.
• Contribute on-site in Minneapolis, Minnesota several days per week to work closely with business partners and end users.

Requirements

• Hands-on experience using Smartsheet in a business intelligence, reporting, or operational support capacity.
• Strong ability to work with large and complex datasets while maintaining accuracy and usability.
• Proven skill in developing complex formulas, automated workflows, and structured reporting solutions.
• Experience building dashboards and visual reporting tools that clearly communicate key metrics.
• Familiarity with Data Shuttle, DataMesh, and Smartsheet automation features.
• Working knowledge of business intelligence platforms such as Power BI and related reporting technologies.
• Construction industry experience is preferred, though candidates who can quickly learn industry processes will also be considered.
• Ability to work on-site in Minneapolis, Minnesota 3-4 days per week.
