Job summary

IS International is looking for a Smart 3D Administrator to oversee the administration, configuration, and ongoing support of Hexagon Smart 3D applications and databases used across the company’s plant engineering and project execution activities. You will ensure system availability, data integrity, and standards compliance while integrating Smart 3D tools with engineering workflows.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a technical field or equivalent experience.
• 3–7 years supporting engineering-design systems and CAD administration.
• At least 2 years hands-on Smart 3D administration experience.
• Experience troubleshooting Smart 3D issues (modeling, drawing, data).
• Knowledge of Microsoft SQL Server and Smart 3D database relations.
• Ability to work independently with limited supervision and coordinate with multiple teams.
• Strong analytical, documentation, and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Independently administer standard Smart 3D environments using approved standards.
• Create and maintain Smart 3D projects, catalogs, models, and databases.
• Assess project-init requests and readiness before release.
• Provide routine and escalated Smart 3D support for modeling, drawings, and access.
• Analyze logs, diagnose defects, and differentiate between application and infrastructure issues.
• Manage roles, permissions, and access requests with IT and security teams.
• Support upgrades, migrations, tests, and user acceptance testing.
• Assist with onboarding and development of junior administrators.
