United Smart Tech is seeking a Smartphone Repair Technician to join our network of mobile technicians. This is a 1099 independent contractor role; you’ll be paid per job and manage your own schedule.

Responsibilities include servicing, troubleshooting, and repairing mobile devices, focusing on smartphone screens with LCD replacements. You’ll travel to client sites and deliver an unforgettable customer experience.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent required.
• Experience repairing electronics, smartphones, computer hardware/software, PC/MACs, or game consoles is a plus.
• Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills.
• Must have a valid driver's license, clean driving record, and reliable vehicle.
• Must be authorized to work in the United States.

Smartphone Repair Technician

Position type: 1099 Independent Contractor:

This is an independent contractor position. This means that while we do provide you with the clients, and we pay per job; we do not reimburse for GAS or MILEAGE, you will claim these on your taxes at the end of the year. Furthermore, IC contractors are not entitled to benefits, including unemployment benefits.

Minimum Education/Experience Requirements:

• High School diploma or equivalent required. A degree or certification in a computer/IT or related field is a plus.
• Experience repairing electronics, smartphones, computer hardware/software, PC/MACs, and game consoles.
• Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills.
• Must have a valid driver's license, a clean driving record, an automobile in good working condition, and adequate insurance coverage.
• Must be able to pass a background check and drug test.
• Must be authorized to work in the United States.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills are required.
• Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and evenings. Our hours of operation are Monday through Saturday from 7 AM - 9 PM, and Sunday from 11 AM - 5 PM. With multiple shifts available.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Previous experience working in a related field.
• Previous customer-facing experience is a plus. (i.e. B2B sales, retail, wireless, or consumer electronic sales experience preferred, etc.).
• College students and new grads are welcome. Technical degree or certification in Electronics or Consumer Electronics a plus.
