Job summary

Throne is seeking a full-time Field Service Technician in the San Francisco Bay Area to perform plumbing, electrical, and basic remodeling repairs on Throne Units. You will read schematics, troubleshoot complex issues, and train/assist other technicians while maintaining records and coordinating with the Senior Operations Manager.

The role offers base hourly pay ($28.80–$33.12) with a comprehensive benefits package and equity; weekend availability may be required.

Qualifications

• 3+ years experience in plumbing, electrical work, construction basics or remodeling.
• Reading and interpreting electrical schematics and diagrams.
• Ability to use tools and equipment properly and safely.
• Strong troubleshooting skills to diagnose and resolve complex issues.
• Knowledge of testing procedures for electrical components (voltage, continuity, current).
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and in a fast-paced environment.
• Flexibility to work weekends or outside regular hours as needed.
• Valid driver's license and clean driving record.
• Can-do attitude and passion for Throne's mission.

Responsibilities

• Maintain the working condition of Throne Units; troubleshoot, identify and repair Thrones on-site as issues arise.
• Prioritize and assign tasks to yourself and other field service technicians.
• Interpret electrical schematics and mechanical drawings to guide installations, repairs and upgrades.
• Maintain accurate records of work performed, including repairs, replacements, and inspections.
• Organize and maintain the warehouse, vehicles and tools; update inventory and keep fleet vehicles clean.
• Ensure warehouse environment is well-organized and safe.
