Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering required.
• Minimum of 4 years of discipline-specific engineering experience.
• Professional Engineer (PE) license required.
• FDOT experience preferred.
• Signal timing and traffic operations experience preferred.
• Advanced proficiency in engineering software (Revit, AutoCAD, MicroStation) and MS Office.
• Strong QA/QC procedures knowledge.
• Proven leadership skills and collaborative work style.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• IMSA level II certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide advanced judgement and analysis to complete complex designs, reports, specs, and documents for traffic engineering and ITS projects.
• Plan, schedule, and coordinate detailed phases of projects with other disciplines and PM staff.
• Monitor project progress and performance to ensure efficient production and minimize issues.
• Complete projects within budget and scheduling constraints, supporting safe and cost-effective mobility solutions.
• Provide guidance and technical review for junior engineering staff.
