Job summary

Honeywell is hiring for an electronics/maintenance technician to operate and support assembly equipment in a manufacturing setting. You will perform setup, startup checks, preventive maintenance, and basic program selection, while supporting SMT and related processes such as SPI, placement, reflow, AOI, and soldering.

You will monitor equipment, troubleshoot, document actions, and assist engineers with changes.

Qualifications

Associate degree or technical diploma in electronics, electromechanical technology, industrial maintenance, or related field.
Typically 2+ years supporting automated manufacturing or electronics assembly.
Ability to read electrical/mechanical drawings and procedures.
Experience using diagnostic tools, multimeters, and basic maintenance software.

Responsibilities

Operate and support electronic assembly equipment per work instructions and schedules.
Perform setup, start-up checks, maintenance, and basic program selection.
Support SMT and related processes (SPI, placement, reflow, AOI, wave soldering, etc).
Monitor conditions, identify alarms and defects, escalate as needed.
Conduct preventive maintenance and calibration checks per procedures.
Troubleshoot mechanical/electrical issues and document work performed.
Assist engineers with installation, trials, and process changes.
Collect production and maintenance data for analysis.
Maintain logs, checklists, and spare-parts records.
