Job summary

High Power Technical Services, the regional service provider for DISH Network in Kentucky, Indiana and Ohio, is seeking Smart Home Technicians. You will install and service satellite video, Starlink internet, Boost Mobile devices, Ontech Smart Home products, and public camera systems.

The role includes customer-facing duties, sales opportunities, and field-based work. Minimum requirements include 21+ years old, a valid driver's license, clean history/record, drug screening, and reliability for

Job description

High Power Technical Services, the Regional Service Provider for DISH Network in Kentucky, Indiana, and Ohio is currently accepting applications for Smart Home Technicians.

Smart Home Technicians are responsible for the installation and service of:

• DISH Network satellite video equipment
• Starlink satellite internet equipment
• Boost Mobile cellular devices
• Ontech Smart Home products
• FLOCK public camera systems

As a HPTS Service Technician, you will enjoy:

• Hourly Pay
• Paid Training. Training pay is $17per hour. Field training last approximately 15days
• Performance Pay Increases: $1 raise upon graduating training program and pay reviews at 4 months and 12 months. Earn up to $20per hour in 12 months of active service.
• Aggressive sales bonus program: Earn up to 15% commission on product sales and up to $1150 per pay cycle for retail account sales with no sales caps.

Minimum requirements for the position:

• 21 years of age or older (for commercial insurance purposes)
• Possess a valid driver's license
• Clean criminal history
• Clean driving record with no DUI's, license suspensions, reckless driving, excessive speeding tickets, etc.
• Pass a pre-employment drug screen
• Have some experience working with basic hand tools
• Able to meet the physical requirements of the position, climb ladders, access crawl spaces, and attics, lift and carry up to 50 pounds, squat, kneel, bend, crawl, and stand for long periods as needed.
• Enjoy working in an outdoor environment (we work in heat, cold, snow, rain, storms, and other types of inclement weather!)
• Be comfortable working one on one with customers! In addition to service and installation, we present products and services to the customer so you must be willing to sell!
• Be available to work weekends, holidays, and evenings.
