Job summary

NRG Energy is seeking skilled Direct to Home Pros to install and service smart home technology in customer homes. This technician role pays on a piece-rate basis with a range of $180 - $350 per install, with potential for higher earnings based on volume and performance.

You will train on industry-leading products, manage inventory, install, service, and troubleshoot smart home systems, and explain capabilities to customers. A valid driver’s license and reliable transportation are required.

Qualifications

• Sales experience in retail, B2C sales, insurance, or service-based sales is a major plus.
• Ability to act with integrity while building rapport with diverse customers.
• Technical aptitude from cable/satellite install, pest control, construction, or solar is helpful but not required.
• Requires a valid driver’s license, good driving record, reliable transportation, and ability to pass background/licensing per law.
