Job summary

Vivint seeks Field Service Technicians to install and service cutting-edge smart home tech while proactively identifying upgrades. You’ll combine technical know-how with consultative sales to deliver total customer peace of mind.

As part of a national team, you’ll enjoy paid training, a company vehicle, and a balanced 4/10 schedule. Strong communication and a valid driver’s license are required. Pay includes base plus commissions.

Qualifications

• A strong Sales Mindset: Experience in retail, business-to-consumer (B2C) sales, insurance, or service-based sales is a strong advantage.
• Customer-First Attitude: Ability to act with integrity while building rapport and trust with diverse customers.
• Technical Aptitude: Experience in cable or satellite installation, pest control, construction, or solar industries is helpful but not required.
• Requirements: A valid driver’s license and a satisfactory driving record. Ability to successfully pass post-offer background screening and licensing requirements in accordance with applicable laws.

Responsibilities

• Installing, servicing, and troubleshooting security cameras, smart locks, and home automation systems.
• Evaluating customer homes to recommend and sell equipment upgrades or service enhancements on-site.
• Training homeowners on how to use their new system to help protect their families.
• Growth: benefiting from coaching and leadership training to advance within our national organization.
