Job summary

NRG Energy, via Vivint Smart Home, is seeking a Field Service Technician to install and support smart home systems across the United States. You will combine technical service with on-site sales to upgrade solutions and protect customers in their homes.

The role offers hands-on installation, on-the-job coaching, and opportunities to advance within the national organization. A valid license and reliable vehicle are required.

Qualifications

• A valid driver’s license and clean driving record.
• Able to pass post-offer background check and licensing requirements.
• Physical ability to lift up to 45 lbs and climb ladders up to 14 feet.

Responsibilities

• Install, service, and troubleshoot smart home devices such as cameras and locks.
• Evaluate homes to recommend and sell equipment upgrades on-site.
• Educate customers on using the new system for protection and peace of mind.
• Pursue growth opportunities through coaching and leadership development.
